It is important to test your fire alarm system and must be tested in accordance with BS5839, which is the regulations for fire detection and fire alarm systems.
A fire alarm test is similar to a EICR ( electrical installation condition report) a certificate/ report will be handed over upon completion and kept in a safe place and logged.
The fire alarm has been installed to protect you and the building.Everyone will depend on this system so it must be functioning properly. You have a legal obligation to ensure that this detection system is in good working order
Fire alarms should be tested by a competent person, this can be done weekly , 6 monthly and yearly. The annual fire alarm test is required and the other intervals are recommended
Fire alarm test - hard wired system between 1 - 10 alarms/ devices, £120.00
Fire alarm test - hard wired system between 10 - 20 alarms/devices, £150.00
Fire alarm test - hard wired system between 20 - 30 alarms/devices, £190.00
Additional costs for more than 30 points, please contact us for a quote. An hourly rate of £75.00 will be charged for any additional work carried out (not including any materials)
