Landlords must ensure the property is in a safe condition before a new tenant moves in and throughout the duration of their tenancy.This is achieved by carrying out EICR's (Electrical Installation Condition Reports) otherwise known as Periodic inspections.
If you the landlord supplies any electrical appliances such as washing machines , fridges, kettles etc then you must ensure that the appliance is in a safe condition. If a tenant has an incident using a faulty appliance the landlord will be penalised.
Qualified to BS5266-1 and experienced electricians for the installation, maintenance and design of emergency lighting systems for HMOs and commercial properties
Fully qualified in BS5839-6 & part 1 for the installation , design and maintenance of fire alarm systems for domestic and commercial properties
Burridge Electrical does not charge a call out fee but we do have a minimum charge which covers the first hour in the Bristol area based on normal working hours. we try to attend any emergencies with in a good time frame.
Non emergency repairs and installations such as fuse board upgrades, rewires and accessory replacement will be quoted for and booked in
