Fluorescent lights and fittings will soon be banned!

This statement is true, fluorescent bulbs are to be phased out in the UK, by the end of next year (2023) you will not be able to purchase fluorescent lights and your electrician will only install LED lights.

Dates that certain type of lamps are to be phased out:

FEBUARY 2023 - All CFL (Compact Fluorescent Lamps) & Ring base lamps
AUGUST 2023 - All T5 and T8 fluorescent tubes
SEPTEMEBR 2023 - All G type lamps (G4, G6.5, G9)
